With the busy lives that we all live, what better way to create ‘memories’ than with quality family holiday time?

 
Long gone are the days when luxury hotels were exclusively for adults. Those catering for families boast incredible facilities, from waterslides to games rooms and child friendly beaches on which to build sandcastles and eat ice-cream, not forgetting comprehensive water and land sports. 

Why stop at short-haul? More families are going long-haul for a different holiday experience and at certain times of year, it can also be more cost-effective.

Although this is family time, us grown-ups still need a break from our ankle biters, so most hotels offer crèches, kids and teen clubs for all ages, plus day and night entertainment, enabling the adults to also enjoy some quality time.

With kids of my own, I fully appreciate the challenges of getting the right mix within the family holiday and trying to ensure that this precious downtime is right for everyone.
