Welcome
"Travel is a fantastic education and even now, I’m still learning..."

Hi, I’m Ruth.

I found my love for seeing the world when I was young, so life to me has always been a series of unique journeys.
It was inevitable that I would build my career in travel. I am passionate about creating sensational holidays and amazing memories.

I've been in the industry since folding t-shirts for my brother's tour operator business more than 30 years ago and I have been an independent travel expert since 2006.

My professional goal has always been very simple: to offer my clients the best of everything!
Where I've been

In a nutshell:
Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, North America, South America and Antarctica.

A smaller snapshot:
India, Colombia, Australia, the US, Canada, the gorgeous Caribbean, much of the Indian Ocean, Thailand, Israel and all over Europe.
I’ve swum with pigs in the Bahamas, been mesmerised by the Taj Mahal, had the privilege to see the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and prayed at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
Favourite places
The Caribbean:
Every island is so different, I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite. However a delicious beach barbecue works on every one of them!
India:
Wow! The colours, the hubbub of life, the traffic, the people, the culture; India is such a wonderful country. Amazing food! The thalis, which are small bowls of rice, pickles, dhal and breads are simply divine.
Amsterdam:
Is my number one city. The locals are refreshingly friendly. I love the markets and canals and it is simply the best place to just be still and 'people watch'.
Most embarrassing travel experience
Getting a bit confused in Nice and ending up in Italy!?! We were on our way to Monaco! A very humbling police escort followed to ensure we caught the right train back. My defence revolved around my friend’s insistence that she recognised the journey... lessons learned!

My one luxury when I travel
PACKING CUBES! What would I do without them? I've known about them for years, but I've only just started using them. Now I'd never travel without them again. My new favourite friends.

My charity initiative
After achieving a personal milestone in 2016, it was important for me to find a way of ‘Giving Back’. Ever since, I have donated for every person I have booked to travel.
Each year, I nominate a charity to contribute to and am proud to have supported, amongst others, the likes of Great Ormond Street Hospital, Cancer Research, Shelter, Child Autism and most recently Iheartprinciples.
I am proud to have thus far donated almost £3,500.
