Welcome
"Travel is a fantastic education and even now, I’m still learning..."

Hi, I’m Ruth.

I discovered my love of seeing the world early in life - so for me, travel has always been a series of unique journeys.
It was inevitable I’d make it my career.
I’ve been in the industry since folding t-shirts for my brother’s tour operator business over 30 years ago, and I’ve worked as an independent travel expert since 2006.
My passion is creating sensational holidays and unforgettable memories.
My professional goal has always been simple: to offer my clients the best of everything.

Where I've been

India, Thailand, Vietnam, South America, Australia, Antarctica, Africa, the US, Canada, the gorgeous Caribbean, much of the Indian Ocean, Israel and all over Europe.
And yes - I’ve swum with pigs in the Bahamas, been mesmerised by the Taj Mahal, visited the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, and prayed at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
Favourite places
Thailand:
Thailand has become one of my most visited and best-loved destinations, and I’m proud to be an accredited Thailand specialist. I’ve explored the country extensively - from temples and tuk tuks to islands, elephants and incredible food.

The Caribbean:
Every island is so different - I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite. But a delicious beach barbecue works on every one of them!
India:
Wow! The colours, the hubbub of life, the traffic, the people, the culture - India is just extraordinary. And the food? The thalis, with small bowls of rice, pickles, dhal and breads, are simply divine.
Most embarrassing travel experience
Getting a bit confused in Nice and ending up in Italy!?! We were on our way to Monaco! A very humbling police escort followed to ensure we caught the right train back. My defence revolved around my friend’s insistence that she recognised the journey... lessons learned!

My one luxury when I travel
PACKING CUBES! I'd never travel without them.

My charity initiative
After achieving a personal milestone in 2016, it became important for me to give something back. Since then, I’ve donated for every person I’ve booked to travel.

Each year, I choose a charity to support. I’m proud to have donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital, Cancer Research, Shelter, Child Autism, Iheartprinciples and Reuben’s Retreat.

So far, I’ve donated over £4,000.
