After 18 long months and three Covid postponements, October finally saw us make it fourth time lucky for our eagerly anticipated holiday to the Roca Nivaria in Tenerife.
The flights and transfers from Stansted went very smoothly and our first impressions of the hotel were positive. The style is traditional 'Canarian', so not super modern, but overall, in excellent condition.
It turned out to be a fantastic holiday and very worth the wait. Our 8-night stay was relaxing with a good provision of family-focused activities, including a lovely kids club with outstanding staff, an enjoyable family pool with water slides which our seven and four-year-old daughters loved.
The food is reasonable quality, with two à la carte restaurants and one buffet.
The views over the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera Island are beautiful but there's not a huge amount to do on your doorstep except for the small cove and gorgeous beach.
Costa Adeje is a 15-minute drive away and a buzzier, vibrant area at night with lots of chic bars.
We totally loved our executive suite with its huge balcony, amazing view and plenty of space, and would definitely recommend the hotel to other families.
Massive thanks to Ruth for her amazing patience and fantastic service. She took away all the stress of the pandemic disruption and we can't wait to book our next holiday with her.
